Westport Country Playhouse

Westport Country Playhouse had the pleasure of presenting a performance of Arnie Kolodner's "The Peter Pan Magic Show" as part of our Children's Theatre programming this summer.

Incorporating songs and magic, the company told this beloved story to a sold-out house of 700 children, parents and camp counselors, and engaged every rapt audience member from the start.  There was just the right amount of audience participation, both onstage and from the house.  Mr. Kolodner is a charming, gregarious performer who keeps the audience in the palm of his hand throughout.  He even shows the children how he does some of his magic, letting them feel like they are in on a wonderful secret.

The show was a delightful addition to our children's series, and we look forward to the company's return in future summer seasons.
