Arnie Kolodner is an actor and magician who has performed professionally in New York since 1983 after earning his BFA in Drama from NYU and studying acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Arnie has played starring roles in many Off-Broadway shows most notably in Charles Busch’s (The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Taboo) comedies, while simultaneously building his own international children’s theater company. From birthdays, schools and libraries to corporate family events, Arnie has established himself as a unique magician by presenting interactive performances that seamlessly weave amazing magic illusions into classic tales.
Arnie’s critically acclaimed productions of Cinderella and the Magic Prince, and Snow White and the Magic Prince, ran Off-Broadway at the Mcginn/Cazale Theater on Manhattan's Upper West Side. His production of The Magic Land of Peter Pan opened to rave reviews from the NY Times at Theater 3 in Manhattan’s theater district. Arnie’s company has performed in many prominent New York theaters such as Queens Theater in the Park, Tribeca PAC, Westhampton Beach PAC, the Bendhiem PAC, and Guild Hall in East Hampton. In Connecticut, Arnie performed The Magic of Cinderella at Joanne Woodward’s Westport Country Playhouse. In 2004 and 2007, Arnie's Magical School for Wizards played for five weeks at The Seoul Arts Center and toured to five other cities throughout Korea. In 2008 and again in 2009, Arnie toured for six weeks in China sponsored by Ovaltine.
Arnie was named Best Children’s Magician by New York Magazine and has been featured in W Magazine, Town and Country Magazine, New York Magazine, The New York Times, on NY1 TV, and The Late Show with David Letterman. Arnie is a member of the Society of American Magicians and is highly recommended by the Parent’s League of New York. He has also served as a magic consultant for the drama department at Julliard. Arnie is a featured lecturer at Kidabra, the international convention of professional children’s entertainers.
Crystal Scott
Crystal has toured the U.S. and Canada as "Dorothy" in The Wizard of Oz, and as "The Mistress" in Evita. In New York City, she has appeared in Believe (York Theatre), The Spickner Spin (NYC Fringe Festival, Audience Favorite Award), First You Dream (New Amsterdam Theatre), Bohemia on Wry (Theatre for the New City), Red Sky (Henry St. Theatre). Favorite U.S. regional productions include: Godspell, The Buddy Holly Story, A Christmas Carol (Belle), Oliver! (Nancy), Li'l Abner (Daisy Mae), Through the Picture Tube, Bye Bye Birdie, Judy and Mickey (Judy), and The Sound of Music. TV roles include "Paula Ivan" on Parco, P.I., "Elsa Jergins" on TV101 (with Matt LeBlanc), Greg the Bunny, MTV's Dukes of Hazard spoof, and numerous commercials and industrials. Crystal is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, and currently resides in New York City.
